Committed to safety
MUTI is committed to promoting a safe, healthy, secure and accident-free environment for its employees, clients and visitors. We are also committed to striving to protect personal property, corporate assets and the environment against risk of damage and other perils within our responsibility, care and control. These commitments are reflected in our corporate safety policies, which are comprised of various corporate safety programs. While our corporate safety policies at a minimum meet all relevant legislative requirements, these policies are constantly under review for possible improvements. Safety is the responsibility of every employee, including all levels of management.
Acting Safety Directors
Acting Safety Director will assign specific responsibilities to support and accomplish our corporate safety policies and programs goals. The safety director will review the adequacy of policies and work practices in order to provide a safe and secure working environment. The safety director will ensure that their manager and supervisors are instructed, trained and held accountable for safe working practices.
Manager & Supervisors
Managers and supervisors will explain to employees their rights and obligation and provide them with the direction and appropriate safety training. Managers and supervisors will perform daily safety inspections, daily tailgate talks, report real or potential safety hazards, hold regular safety meetings and conduct accident investigations to ensure compliance with legislative requirement of corporate policies.
Employees
Employees at all levels will participate in the assigned corporate safety programs, follow the safety programs, work in a prudent, safe manner and report potential hazards to their managers or supervisors. In addition, employees are encouraged to make safety suggestions to improve our corporate safety policies.
Safety Committee
Safety Committee will promote safe work practices and conditions to create a safe, healthy and secure environment, by reviewing safety policies and recommending improved and effective safety strategies.
