Barbara Smith

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Barbara Smith brings over 30 years of accounting experience to MUTI. As CFO, Ms. Smith helps maintain the sound financial foundation that enables the company to continue providing its clients with superior products and services. Her responsibilities include oversight of financial, budgetary and analytical accounting.

Ms. Smith has worked in accounting since 1976, when she took a position as accounts receivable clerk in the chemical industry. Since then, she has gained extensive accounting experience, building a solid track record for leading the preparation and analysis of financial reports that effectively summarize and forecast financial position.

Ms. Smith has an associate’s degree in accounting from Parkland College and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Upper Iowa University. Ms. Smith is presently working toward a master’s in business administration with an accountancy concentration at Eastern Illinois University.

In addition to pursuing her business administration studies, Ms. Smith enjoys gardening and spending time with her three sons.
